Give the Gift of Flight for the Holidays
Sawyer County Aciation has the perfect gift idea for that hard to buy for person on you holiday shopping list - an introductory flight lesson. Through its association with the national, nonprofit BE A PILOT Program, Sawyer County Aviation is making it easy to give the gift of flight for just $65. Simply register for a free certificate online at www.beapilot.com. Since the introductory flight certificate can be printed right from the Website, it makes a great last minute gift or stocking stuffer, and can even be printed on Christmas Eve. There is nothing to buy online. You pay the $65 (which is about half the cost of a typical flight lesson) to the flight school when the recipient takes the lesson.
Gift Certificates: Sawyer County Aviation is a member of the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce and accepts gift certificates purchased from the Chamber of Commerce office in Downtown Hayward.
Future Ground School: A private pilot ground school may be offered during Spring 2008. A minimum of 6 people is needed to offer the class. The class would meet one night per week, start the week following the American Birkebeiner ski race in late February, and end prior to the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Call 715-266-3815 to sign up for the class. |
