Time stands still in this rustic and woodsy resort with its natural pristine setting and panoramic views. It is a place that progression has forgotten. The remote location of Northern Ambiance Lodge on the Chippewa Flowage is reminiscent of yester year's solitude and raw beauty.

In this lake the fisherman do not entice the fish...The fish entice the fisherman! It may or may not be fisherman's luck that the third largest lake in Wisconsin contains 232 miles of largely undeveloped shoreline, but one thing is true, it is certain to bring out the Lewis and Clark in all of us.

OUR CABINS & THEIR AMENITIES:

There are 5 two and three bedroom heated cabins overlooking the lake a few feet from the shore. They are built to offer rustic, yet comfortable living quarters and are well-spaced for privacy. The cabins are cozy with self-contained kitchens and bathrooms with new showers. Some also have screened porches and day beds with an excellent view of the lake. This private location would be great for retreats & family reunions.

From Twin Cities:

• North on Hwy. 35 East to Rock Creek
• Right on Hwy.70 going East all the way
• To Couderay. Take CC then go left on N,
• Right on NN go 4 miles. Look for Northern Ambiance Lodge signs.
• Turn right on Dreamcatcher Road.

From Milwaukee, Chicago:

• I-94 to Eau Claire, get on Hwy. 53 North
• When in Trego take Hwy. 63 to Hayward.
• Turn South (right) on Hwy. 27/70 at Kwik Trip in Hayward for 1 mile.
• Go East on Hwy. B (7 miles), turn on NN south.
• Go 5 miles south on NN. Watch for Northern Ambiance Lodge signs.
• Turn left on to Dreamcatcher Road.
