Hayward, WI Vacation Lodging, Camping and Bar on Nelson Lake Lodge in Northern Wisconsin
Nelson Lake Lodge Bar has 22 seats that overlook the lake, with off sale. The grill has a menu of sandwiches, salads, fish and chicken fry, bar snacks, and also a selection of ice cream treats, such as malts, shakes, floats, and sundaes.
There is an attached game room that has additional seating at tables, a conversation table, and also arcade games and a pool table.
The 45 site campground has been converted to seasonal camping only. The (15) seasonal sites have septic systems and cement patios. The complete campsite (45 sites) has updated 50 amps service with individual electric meters so that each camper pays their own electric usage.
The grounds include 300+ lake frontage on Nelson Lake, 2.33 acres of land. There is a shuffleboard court, horseshoe pit, large playground area with swings, slides, merry-go-rounds, and jumper toys. There is a sand beach with a sitting area.

Nelson Lake Lodge Location
We are located on the northwest side of Nelson Lake, approximately one-quarter mile above the big dam. Nelson Lake Lodge can be reached quickly by taking Highway 27 North from Hayward, about seven miles to the Nelson Lake dam. As you cross the bridge on 27, immediately take a right by the 'Wayside sign'. Go up the road 100 yards and take another right on Lodge Road.
Our sandy beach and our expansive playground, which consists of merry-go-rounds, slides, swings and tether ball, along with a shuffleboard court and horse shoe pit for the young and young at heart.
Excellent fishing from shore; gasoline available on the lake.
